Vessel Support and Piracy Hardening

As a part of our Agency and Vessel Support Division, Saga Subsea have over the years attended and conducted a series of Piracy Hardening jobs and prepared vessels for entering high risk areas, either from our offices in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria or from our main offices in Haugesund, Killingøy Offshorebase.

 The risk assessment and planning is conducted by our highly qualified collaborating partners, where Saga Subsea adds and mobilize the tailor made solutions to the vessel to ensure safe passage and operations.

 According to the International Maritime Bureau’s annual 2018 piracy and armed robbery report, released today shows a marked rise in attacks against ships and crews around West Africa, for vessel owners to be aware of the risk that might meet them. The complete report can be read here.
