Together with our local office and partners in Limassol, Cyprus - having a good dialog and collaboration with local Governments, we have now been able to develop a good solution for vessel owners and contractors to conduct their crew-changes in the East Mediterranean region.
During the Corona outbreak, it has been a challenging task for many vessel owners to conduct crew-changes, mobilizations and similar in the Mediterranean region and also elsewhere. Our local office and Partners in Limassol have nevertheless worked out a cost efficient and good solution for our Clients to be able to commence such operations in a cost efficient and safe matter.
Our procedure to commence these operation have been approved, and will be controlled and regulated by local Governments, directly and case by case by the Minister of Transport.
In addition to the local procedures and legislation, Saga Subsea have a good collaboration with chartering agencies for flights, able to set up direct flights from Norway to the East Mediterranean region, but also Las Palmas and elsewhere.
